WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS/SERVICE?

At Acuminata Sdn Bhd, we produce a good quality chips that are made from a banana. This chips are flavors with a custom made of ingredient that give a great teste. Some of our factory chips also flavored with a popular requested flavor such as cheese, hot and spies, tom yam, and etc.

HOW DID YOU PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCTS/ SERVICES?

In this era of globalization, as can be seen nowadays, there are many ways that each company do to promote their products and services in order to growth their business. In our company, Acuminata Sdn Bhd, there are several aspects that we emphasize and is very important to be look at as a strategy in promoting our products and services for the continuity, growth and expanding our business. The aspects are:

i) Demographic Segmentation

In terms of the trend of demand for banana chips nowadays is still not enough, but the presence of competition between other cracker products such as potato crackers, fish crackers and so on is still a competition to this industry. In terms of observation, it is possible that this banana product has not yet produced a similar flavor to the product. Therefore, the concept of this factory product that produces various flavors is able to compete with existing products in the market.

ii) Geographic Segmentation

With the strategic position of the factory in terms of raw material resources, this factory is also located between international trade routes such as Brunei and local namely Sipitang, Keningau, Papar, Tambunan, Kota Kinabalu. While alternative routes such as Keningau to Tawau and Kota Kinabalu to Kudat or Sandakan. Arguably, this product is easy to market to the entire state of Sabah.

iii) Technographic Segmentation

We also used an Online-based shopping especially through the instagram, Facebook and whatsapp as an alternative platform in selling our product. As people nowadays are more exposed to technology which they can reach in a second.

Marketing Channels​​

In a business it is important to have a good marketing channel strategies so that the product could be deliver to the customer and the product can be promoted widely to attract customer interest. There are various ways or platforms can be used for the marketing channel as part of the business promotion. Our company use three marketing channels platform to promote our product which are:

i) Direct Selling

- Through shops, kiosks, booths
- Grocery stores, Seven eleven stores, supermarkets, department stores
- Kiosks like past drive huts, bus station sales, kiosk machines
- Booths like bookstalls, informal huts.

ii) Social Media

Through instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp. This is because, nowadays, everyone can and have an access to social media. So it will be easier to promote, contacting and deal with our customer upon any purchase and delivery. Moreover, through this platform, we could also save budgets in promoting our product as using social media are free of charge and more eco-friendly if compare to promote through poster where we need to print it out.

Customer Relationship​​

Customer relationship is very important as a success and failure of a business all depends on the performance of the business. Thus, having a good relationship with all the customers and maintain the relationship for a long period of time is very important to help sustaining and increase the performance of the business. In our business, we want to build a friendly and good relationship with our customers so there are several way we do to establish and achieve it which is by having:

- Identify and target the target products of the company's products, generate quality sales leads, and plan and implement with clear goals and objectives
- Form individual relationships with customers (to increase customer satisfaction) and provide the highest level of customer service to potential customers
- Provide employees with the information they need to know the needs and wants of their customers, and build relationships between the company and its customers
-customer management planning by paying attention to 5 aspects namely customer focus strategy, understanding customer needs, setting customer service standards, benchmarking, service design.
-service of services through work procedures and efficient delivery process to ensure fast, easy and comfortable service based on 4 aspects, namely the permanent unit of customer relationship management, technology, company management, and service channels.
-customer interaction by paying attention to 4 aspects namely telephone service, counter service, Helpdesk service and customer complaints and feedback.
- performance management by strengthening aspects such as monitoring, service performance appraisal and reporting mechanisms
-training and information sharing.

ACUMINATA SDN BHD ACHIEVEMENT

As for our Facebook platform, we had successfully reached our target followers within 28 day. Currently, our Facebook followers is 29 users in 1 week. As for our Facebook discovery, the most accounts reach was on 20 January 2021 until 23 Januari 2021, which peaked at 134 accounts. On the other hand, Acuminata Sdn Bhd highest impressions was 248 accounts on the same time period. We notiched that we get more impressions, profile visits and reach during promotions such as 10% off or RM3 off for all items.

SALES & PROFIT

Acuminata Sdn Bhd is one of the newly developed companies in the last month. Through surveys of public interest in this product, this product is seen through the current advertisement developments made in social media. The result of the survey showed an encouraging amount because in such a short time it is able to attract so much demand.
